McDougald Announces for Buckeyes

Ohio State's efforts to keep Ohio's best at home - along with march to toward a full class in the summer - took another step forward today. Bradley McDougald, a safety from Dublin's Scioto HS, offered his verbal commitment to the Buckeyes.

McDougald becomes the second highly regarded safety to join the 2009 class. Rivals.com rates him as a 4-star player and a top ten safety in the country. Scout.com has him listed as a 3-star player, but he has come on strong in camp performances. Don't be suprised to see him as a 4-star in both when the season ends.

This marks the fourth 4-star commit in a 48 hour period, and the fifth since the weekend. An unbelievable flurry, even by today's recruiting standards.
