Green Reverses Field, Joins Buckeyes

One of the top athletes in the 2009 class is Louisville Male's Justin Green. Buckeye fans may remember his brother Marcus, a defensive lineman on the 2002 team. Green visited Columbus this weekend but left without committing, and many OSU fans wondered if his timeline might cause them to miss out.

Apparently, Justin didn't want to find out. Despite heavy interest from programs like Miami (FL), Louisville and Tennessee, Green surprisingly committed to Ohio State Sunday evening. Green is known for his speed and could play a number of different positions. He's a 4-star prospect for both recruiting services, and Rivals ranks him as the #67 player overall.

Green's commitment tightens things up in the secondary even more. It will be interesting to see what happens with Corey Brown, Bradley McDougald and Vlad Emilien over the next few weeks. Brown has a press conference scheduled today, and McDougald could announce later this week.
