Playing a virtual road game in the semis of the preseason NIT, the young Ohio State hoops team upset #21 ranked Syracuse 79-65. Freshman Kosta Koufos continued to impress in his one-and-done tour, scoring 24 points and grabbing 9 rebounds. Jamar Butler was steady with 14 points, and Othello Hunter added 15 points and 8 boards. Also impressive were freshmen John Diebler, who showed impressive intensity and nice touch, and Evan Turner, whose versatility is already crucial to Coach Matta's rotation.Next up? #15 Texas A&M and there gigantic front court. Fingers crossed for the youngsters. ;)
